Launched in 2020 and designed following requests from the wincheux community to meet another need
The PCW4000 is equipped with a centrifugal clutch that is activated when you pull on the rope.
The more you pull, the more fuel you give to the engine.
When the tension on the rope is released, the drum stops rotating and the rope retention system (SRP) holds the load in position without effort.
A simple lateral movement is enough to disengage the rope.
Easy to secure and easy to release.
This model is powered by the Honda GX50 4-stroke engine with 360° tilt to offer reliable and smooth performance in addition to a remarkable pulling power of 2,200 lbs. Add a system of two double pulleys and you will have up to five (5x) the capacity of the winch, for a total of 11,000 lbs.
And like all our portable capstan winches, there is no limit to rope length!
Unleaded gasoline, 86 octane or higher
Centrifugal clutch
Drum: 76 mm (3 in.)
*Note: The Progressive Capture System (PCS) cannot be installed on other winch models. The main reason is that the PCW3000-Li, PCW3000 and PCW5000 winches do not have a centrifugal clutch, which is a critical component in the PCW4000 system.
Kit includes:
PCW4000
Rope bag to store and transport your rope.
50 m (164 ft) rope for smooth pulling operations.
RopeWizerMD - Simplified splicing to maintain nearly 100% of your rope capacity and attach the carabiner.
Single pulley to either deflect the pulling angle or double the power of the winch.
2x Locking carabiners; one to connect the pulley to the sling and another to attach to the end of your rope.
Safety hook with safety latch to install at the very end of your rope to attach it to the load.
2 m (6 ½ ft) polyester sling to attach the pulley to a tree for example.
2.5 m (8 ¼ ft) round polyester sling to anchor your winch where you need it.
